Henri joined BioMedbooster as Managing Director in November 2009. He graduated in Biology at the University of Nijmegen and holds a PhD from the University of Amsterdam. The latter based on work in the department of Prof. Dr. P. Borst at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Henri carried out a postdoc project in Immunohaematology at the Central Lab of Blood Transfusion in Amsterdam. His career in the pharmaceutical industry started at Organon International, which was later acquired by Schering-Plough and Merck & Co., respectively. He held various positions in the Cardiovascular and Reproductive Medicine programs and headed the Genomics & Bioinformatics group. During his expatriation to the United States he focused on biotechnology, immunology, and oncology as Senior Director, Global Strategy, Portfolio Management and Research Alliances in Cambridge, MA, and as Vice President and Officer of Diosynth RTP, NC. Following his return he was a member of the Management Team and Management Committee of Nobilon International BV in Boxmeer, The Netherlands, with responsibility for Business Development and Strategic Marketing.

Renée Lemaire joined BioMedbooster in april 2009 as Legal Counsel. Previously, she worked as legal specialist for Clinical Trial Center Maastricht, DaimlerChrysler in Maastricht, for the Dutch Open University in Heerlen and for Trenité van Doorne, Brussels. Renée Lemaire graduated in Law at Maastricht University in 1997, obtaining an LL.M. in European and International Law. In June 2003, Renée Lemaire completed a postgraduate programme in Information Technology Law at the Grotius Academie (Nijmegen, The Netherlands).

Jonathan joined BioMedbooster in May 2008. Previously, Jonathan worked for the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and Maastricht University and in collaboration with TNO Zeist, former NUMICO (now Danone), IRAS Utrecht, and Rivella AG Switzerland. Jonathan holds a PhD on the subject fields of food allergy, immunomodulation, immunotoxicology and immunogenomics from Maastricht University. Furthermore, Jonathan devoted several years in research on functional foods and cancer(prevention) at Maastricht University. He graduated in Health Sciences at Maastricht University, with a specialization in Environmental Health Science. Jonathan is also an European Registered Toxicologist (ERT), for which he received post-doctoral education at six leading Dutch Universities. From 2009 to 2010 Jonathan acquired his post-doctoral education in BioBusiness at Netherlands Biotechnology Association (NIABA)/ De Baak Management Center, during which he was recognized for writing the best Business Plan and was honoured as finalist and public's favourite for best Business Proposition at the BioBusiness Event 2010.

Jasper Buijs joined BioMedbooster in April 2006. Previously, he worked as Associate Expert Agricultural Biotechnology, through the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the International Potato Center, CGIAR institute in Lima, Peru. There he conducted and coordinated biotechnology impact assessments. Before that, he spent several years as researcher in different laboratories for plant molecular genetics, and phytopathology. Jasper obtained his M.Sc. 'Management of Agro-ecological Knowledge and Social Change (MAKS)' at the Wageningen University, with specialization Biotechnology for Developing Countries. His B.Sc. (Biochemistry) he obtained from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HLO), specialization Biochemistry & Biotechnology.

Inge van den Berg joined BioMedbooster in September 2006, directly after receiving her Master of Sciences in Biomedical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology, with specialisation in Bio informatics. The title of her thesis is 'Small repeats in the human genome and neurological diseases'. As part of her studies Inge spent four months at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, where she conducted a research study in a joint project for the departments of Computer Science and Genetics.

Dongni Yan is originally from China. As the only international employee at BB, she has been living in the Netherlands for nearly 5 years.
Before joining Biomedbooster in April of 2010, Dongni (Donnie) has been extensively working in ingredients and petrochemicals sectors for 3 years, with main responsibilities including marketing research, international trading of special chemicals, and business development. She obtained a master's degree in Food Technology from Wageningen University, and specialized in food innovation and management. At her leisure time, Dongni enjoys culinary art and being a LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability).

In March of 2010 Rob joined BioMedbooster. He graduated in 1998 at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and is specialized in Management of Technology and Innovation. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Mechanics at the Polytechnic of Eindhoven. Previously he worked as Product Development Manager at an AScX listed company that deals with commercialization of inventions. After several years he joined a world leading high tech multinational where he occupied several positions at the Marketing Department. Rob excels in market research and analysis, and new product development. Strategic decision making, strategic business development and innovation management are his fields of expertise as well.

Lia has over 30 years of experience in the administrative, office management and logistic sectors, of which nine years within a big care institution and several years within small companies and fair and event organisation. Since 2009, Paul Jonker works for BioMedbooster. He holds a M.Sc. in Chemical Technology from the Technical University Delft. Paul has a vast international experience in commercial and scientific positions in the pharmaceutical industry and its providers; e.g. Global Marketing manager (Diosynth/ Organon API), Executive Director Global Marketing & Sales (Diosynth/ Organon), Executive Director Global Licensing & Business Development (Organon), Business Unit Manager (Analytico) and Head of Clinical Research (Glaxo Netherlands). Paul's consulting company Revalisc provides business development services for small & medium enterprises in the life sciences industry.

Winand holds a PhD in molecular biology and biochemistry and is a European Patent Attorney with an industry background. Educated at Philips in Eindhoven, he worked at Organon, a pharmaceutical company in the Netherlands and at DSM, a global life science and material science company before he founded Life Science Patents in 2004. Winand works as a consultant for BioMedbooster and provides patentability opinions, patent strategy counseling as well as patent prosecution services.
